Mithila Student Union Protest turns into scuffle


Continuing their protest against the Nagar Nigam negligence, Mithila Student Union members today reached the Nagar Nigam office with members carrying garbage. It is to be remember that in their protest organised on 25th Jun the Mithila Student Union has demanded swift actions from Nagar Nigam on list of issue including water sewage, cleanliness etc. They had also warned that if the issues are not addressed then they will bring the garbage to Nagar Nigam Campus.

The protest turns into minor scuffle between Nagar Nigam parshads and Mithila Student Union members which ended with intervention of city police. The police took Mithila Student Union Members in custody and later released them on bonds. Some reporters complained about the rough treatement by police when they reached police station to cover the news.

During the protest Mayor Gauri Paswan and MLA Sanjay Sarawagi was said to be present at Nagar Nigam office. Members of Mithila Student Union later said that they will lodge police complain against the parshads who allegedly have beaten the Mithila Student Union members.
