There are two markets, one is situated around Darbhanga Tower and other is nearby Laheria Sarai Tower. The market situated around Darbhanga tower is the district main market and many brand stores as well as stores and stalls selling local stuffs are situated there. There are good chances of getting bargain when purchasing from road side stalls.

Summer starts as early as April and lasts till September. The temperature ranging from low 68F to 113F Winter season starts from October and lasts till mid of March. The temperature varies in between low of 44F to 104F Monsoon plays a vital part and it is of utmost important season for farming.
